Sophisticated and sensible this chair has to be seen in person to fully appreciate the color harmony, muted jewel tones and divine wood grain texture. Expert application and technique lend to the quality of this brilliant design making it a prized work of art. It's a must have!

ARTIST STATEMENT/INFLUENCE: 

I was inspired by Crayola Crayons…fusing those vibrant colors with geometric shapes.  My chair is meant to be playful and fun…yet it could be placed in a more serious environment for the owner’s enjoyment also.  The paint is applied very dry, in a tedious bristling fashion, to allow the texture of the old wood grain to emerge.  A time consuming technique, but I think an appealing result.
