This stein has a cream background with very ornate handle. The continuous scene on the stein is raised and very colorful. The scene depicts countrymen gathered around a table listening to a man play a muscial instrument for a woman.  The background of the stein has stone pillars with dark archways. The scene has muted colors of green, yellow, orange, brown, and black. 1 L is stamped on the upper rim.

Overall, the stein is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. It stands 9" tall, opening at top is 3 1/2", and base is 4 1/2". The bottom has 1929 Germany stamped on it. The letter E is off by itself.
