This stein has a cream background with a deep reddish-brown glaze with green and blue accents. The handle, as well the stein, has extensive raised detail throughout. The scene shows villagers socializing around a table. One of the gentlemen is trying to sing but a maden covers his mouth. Along the bottom is evidence of a prior repair. See photo. 2 L is stamped by the rim. The bottom has a Germany stamp.  

It stands 12 tall, opening at top is 3 1/4", and base is 5 1/2.
