Description

This stein appears old but age is unknown. The entire stein is stone colored, including the raised continuous scene. There is a German saying on 2 sides. The center panel shows a gentleman drinking and raising his glass in a toast. This does not appear to have had a lid since there is no hole on top of the handle from where the pewter lids were usually anchored. There is a small hairline crack at the top of the handle where it connects to the stein. See photo. 1/2 L is stamped on the upper rim. There is some wear to the stone color from use over the years.

The bottom has the numbers 14 and 8020 and Germany. The number 642 is stamped on the side.

It stands 6" tall, opening at top is 2 1/2", and base is 3 1/2".
