The pewter lid has been removed. This stein has raised a detailed pattern throughout. The stone and deep color depicts a scene of people frolicking and drinking. The blue glaze overlaps onto sections of the stone background throughout but appears to have been made this way. Possibly a sign of being an older stein but that is not known for certain. There is a hairline crack at the bottom. See photo for details. Otherwise, it appears to be in good condition with no chips or glazing. There is a German saying on a banner being held by two of the figures.

It stands 6" tall, opening at top is 2 1/2", and base is 3 3/4".
