The Big Picture Theater & Café is the Mad River Valley’s unofficial cultural center and café. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 8am-2:30pm serving breakfast, lunch, Apès from 2:30-5pm and dinner from 5pm-9pm, Sunday 8am-2:30pm. Featuring locally grown vegetables and herbs from around the Mad River Valley as well as local meats and cheeses.

Breakfast served daily until 2:30pm (try our renowned Huevos Rancheros) and we also offer eclectic brunch specials every Sunday.

The Big Picture Café also boasts a wide variety of coffee, specialty drinks (full bar) and milk shakes from our vintage soda fountain. Don’t miss out on fresh desserts and famous maple-glazed Very Small Donuts.

Complete your dining experience with a movie (you can even have dinner/drinks in their theaters!) or one of many events including live music, monthly art exhibits, film festivals, performances, concerts and more.

We offer rental spaces and catering! Host a birthday party or business presentation in our Red Theater or a book a small luncheon in our lounge, adjacent to an old-fashioned, fully-stocked bar. Please email us for any rental inquiry!
