"Through the stroke of a brush or the line of a pencil, my passion is to create memorable, lifelike portraits. With my classes throughout high school taking me through human portraits, it is within the past couple years that I have ventured into animal, particularly pet, pieces. I draw my inspiration from the light in their eyes, the full, happy soul that lingers behind them. It is with that connection that I feel I do my best work, so finding the quintessential image determines the outcome of the piece.
