"Cooking Lessons"

Smells of baking bread and simmering stew, a jar filled with molasses or oatmeal cookies, a wooden table with pressback chairs, family and friends - those were the ingredients of the kitchen I remember. These memoris are captured in this Victorian musical. Mother rolls dough (back and forth) with her rolling pin, while her daughter's hand moves back and forth stirring ingredients in a mixing bowl. Musical plays the tune "Clair de Lune." Mother's kitchen was the heart of our home. I would gladly relive those days of yesteryear.
