Opened in 1923 by Chester Wanamaker and now in its third generation of ownership, Wanamaker Hardware is an Arlington gem. The Wanamaker family also has a special connection to the Dallin Museum. Owner Mark Wanamaker recalls how his father John (Chester's son) John used to visit Cyrus Dallin in his studio on his way home from school in the 1930s. John would help Cyrus cover his clay models with wet cloths so they wouldn't dry out.
