The winning student and three friends will Join Maestra Gitana at the beautiful Fitzgerald Marine Reserve in Moss Beach, CA. There you will observe the 'tough guys' of the tide pools: sea urchins, anemones, barnacles, mussels, algae, and seastars. A beach picnic and art project will be prepared to round out several fun hours by the sea.
