Marilyn Poliquin is a native Californian who at an early age began to draw. As an only child art was her companion, it was a natural thing to do, developing into a way of life.

She received a degree in art from Orange Coast College going onto University of California to obtain a BA. Her paintings reflect her love of color found in the garden.

She paints and teaches in her studio in Newport Beach.
