Join Courtney Thompson in a one on one conversation around high performance mindset training. As athletes we often get told to ‘be confident’ or that we should be ‘mentally tough’ without any sort of HOW around doing this. If we really want to become the best that we can be, there are three things we can train as a human: our body, our craft, and our mind. In this one hour session athletes will be given tangible tools to train their mind every day, in the same way they train their muscles in the weight room and their skills on the court.

Brains are amazing, and also highly inconvenient in the sense that it’s often the moments we care about most that are the most challenging for us to show up fully in. And if we are really stretching to find out what we’re made of and reaching for our dreams, challenge and stress are inevitable on that path. It’s what makes life and sports difficult and is also what makes them worth it. The joy and the beauty in pursuing our best, lies in the moments we learn to embrace and adjust to anything that comes our way. The times we get fully absorbed in the present moment, grin in the face of challenge, and show up as our truest self, are the times we have most to receive and the most to offer.

All of this can be trained. This session will be focused on addressing the mindset skills to help athletes bring their best regardless of what’s going on around them. Athletes are much more powerful than they often realize, and this hour will be aimed to help unlock their full potential.
